Gurbinder Gill

I take a consultative approach with clients and in the process ensure that their needs and wants are fully captured in the advice I provide. I believe that the next most important thing after good health is wealth. Having more than 30 years’ experience in financial advice, I understand what clients want and guide them towards achieving their financial goals.

I started my career in KPMG Malaysia before joining Great Eastern Life as an insurance adviser. I spent 13 years advising, recruiting, training and managing financial advisers in Malaysia, and the last 13 years actively advising clients in Australia; in addition to coaching and mentoring fellow advisers.

I am married to Ravin and have 3 sons, Kirath, Karan and Kirpa. When at home, I enjoy gardening and taking Rosco, our Black Labrador for a walk. I barrack for Essendon in the AFL and Liverpool in the EPL.

My mission is to make financial advice simple, sensible and easy to understand.

My approach towards problem solving for my taxation clients is no different in preventing taxes from eating into their investments …. being the best advisors means we’re constantly seeking and learning , keeping abreast with latest developments locally and abroad and assisting clients with their financial and taxation issues to the best of our abilities.

I started my taxation career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Malaysia in 1994 and moved to Ernst & Young in 2001 where I remained until 2006. I have been providing taxation advice to clients in Malaysia for more than 26 years as well as Australian clients for the past 10 years.

I am an avid soccer fan and a longtime supporter of Liverpool like my fellow scouser Gurbinder. I also play tennis, hockey and badminton. My hobbies include playing the tabla and piano. I am married with two kids.
